I should have bought one like this years ago! In the past few months I would have saved about 10 times the cost. I was dumping salt in my pool unnecessarily because my Hayward salt cell was aging and failing and I was told the parts per million was about half what it actually was. The last one is the oooooooooooooooooooooooooo method. Not to mention pricey - Taylor only gives out a tiny vial, which is only enough for a couple of readings. And when I dilute the water sample to exactly 50% with bottled water, the meter reads about exactly 50% in ppm. . I tried a third dilution, then a fourth dilution out of curiosity, and this wonderful little device keeps track of the dilutions all the way down. If you have a saltwater pool, you MUST have this wonderful little tool. Very, very recommendable!
