Kohler Model K-393 Centerset Basin Faucet / Task to remove old rusty valve cartridge
CERAMIC VALVE GP77005-RP (HOT) was installed in a Kohler Model K-393 Centerset Basin Faucet due to a leak from the old valve cartridge. The only problem was removing the old rusty cartridge: to do this I sprayed into the handle adapter where the valve cartridge is located with a BP blaster for 3 days until it came loose. Tools used for this project: - 5/8" deep socket ratchet - BP Blaster Penetrating Catalyst (optional) - Dow Corning 111 o-ring valve silicone grease and sealant (optional)
