I did not realize that this thread is as fragile as some other transparent threads unless it is cooled. The transparency is very good and so far there have been no knots during unwinding. Here is more information about the transparent thread and the problem of brittleness. Only the last few inches of the spool become brittle and it's easiest to unload the filament and just snap off the brittle part. White PLA does this too and is easy enough to bypass. But I found a bigger problem when I reordered clear PLA, they sent another filament that was translucent and not transparent like the last spool (calling it "clear" is a misnomer). somewhat ambiguous). I kept it sealed but was told it would be the same after heating. They were wrong, the package is open now because they told me and they no longer reply to my messages. Too bad the original was good but I don't trust the seller and will be taking my business elsewhere. Be careful when using "Shop 3D Supplies", you may or may not be lucky.
