Great little suitcase. I'm not sure you can ask for much more for the price. First, under normal conditions, you don't need to drill holes in the top and add a fan. If you're using a standard Pi over USB-C in a temperature-controlled environment, you should be able to run any load without issue. However, if you plan to use PoE or enable overclocking or work in a warm environment, you will need a fan. If you don't mind taking the top off, the optional fan hat will do. The fit and finish is pretty good. Some of the lines don't fit perfectly in the anodization between top and bottom, don't match perfectly, but that's a case of Pi and it's $15. Also, I would say that a matte plastic bottom is preferable to a glossy one. They may not have been able to find a cheap way to make it matte and translucent for the status lights. This is a solid building for 4.5 stars. I would say half a star because of the lack of top ventilation. I believe even small cuts in the tip would have helped. Note: lovepi's insulated PoE cover will fit, but the top (next to the ethernet port) needs some sanding. Also, the lone mounting hole on the right side needs trimming. To install the Noctua fan, I had to secure the heatsink and power connectors.
