Review on ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Acer XG270HU 27" FREESYNC Widescreen Monitor with Tilt Adjustment and 2560X1440P Resolution - XG270HU Omidpx by Steven Watson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great, especially for the price.

I want to give this 5 stars but when I first set it up I was very frustrated trying to get it to work. For some reason always writes"no signal". I've tried every cable that came with it and others that I knew worked. I have 3 other monitors and have tried them all again to see if my system wants to randomly mess up at the same time. Eventually I had the random idea of leaving one of my good monitors plugged in and then plugging in the Acer after taking a picture on the other. Of course, Acer woke up to that! After that I unplugged the old monitor and restarted the computer. Now that it works I have to say. That's incredible! I used the tft-icc profile and also adjusted the OSD color settings and compared to my philips bdm 4k computer monitor with va panel it hangs right there in colors (after adjustment). Truly the best TN panel I've ever used! 144Hz has to be experienced, but damn it's stunning with FreeSync. The first game I tested was the new Doom. At 1440p my fps oscillates between 89 and 144 but not a single crack, jerk or anything. In fact, it was so damn smooth that I had to double-check the FPS counter and settings to make sure it wasn't locked on v-sync! No input lag and amazing mouse response. 27 inches and 1440p really is a gaming sweet spot. I seriously knocked it out of the park! I wish I bought it when it came out but I'm stuck on the 4k train lol. I will never return!
