I really like using this set to wash cast iron cookware. I love plastic scrapers to help remove grease from pans. Just make sure the pans are completely cool before using. I thought one of my skillets had cooled sufficiently and when I went to dispose of it the plastic melted a bit. Thank god there are several of them in this set. I also like the metal cleaning pad. I didn't think it would help, but there have been times when I've actually burned something (especially when I first started cooking with cast iron) and cleaning burnt food has been a blessing. .I think it was a really good deal for the money and I recommend it.
