Review on πŸš€ K.A.T. Matrix 3-Axis Accelerometer for Boosting Car Performance by Chris Estes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works well seems accurate

Bought this because I just bought a 1972 Monte Carlo with 350 SB, all original and wanted to see what it would do. The 1/4 mile wide local lane was recently closed and there are no others within 5 hours drive. The price for this corresponds to the gas costs. It performs 0-60 times, 1/4 mile time AND speed and G-forces as you turn, accelerate and stop. You can't do all 3 at the same time, it's one shot at a time. You follow the prompts to enter the vehicle and driver weight and the test parameters (mile range, eg: 30-70 mph) and you get a calculated wheel power within the parameters, which is pretty cool. The mount features 3 suction cups for a secure fit to the windshield. Time and speed match. My best time is 14.7 @ 103 mph with 225 hp max at the wheel. Statistically, that's correct, and all the numbers agree. When the track opens I'll test it out on the strip. Alibaba.com sells them wholesale for about $20 each, but you have to buy 18 at a time. Could be a good investment. I bought this from Revain for $58 and they have special offers from time to time so look for it.
