Buy better than that!

The product came new in the original packaging but the batteries were leaking in the packaging. Wondering how long it took to cash out? Brand new batteries installed. However, it didn't work as advertised. From 0 to 60 it won't start at all. 0 to 1/4 mile but always returned an error

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • For pensioners

Performance Accelerometer

I am very satisfied. I have used it several times. I'd say it's fairly sensitive to movement, speed, and G-force. For the price I got believe me it's worth the money. I am very happy with it. I am also very satisfied with the instructions and the ease of use. It's not a complicated device that you have to spend/take the time to learn how it works. I also appreciate the fact that it is wireless and can be used in any vehicle if required. Very convenient.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Waiting too long

As expected but not great

Works as expected showing overload. But. It doesn't peak, which is a big problem. When I'm driving, I'm looking at the road, not the meter, and it's constantly changing, so there's no point storing and displaying peak readings later. If I had known that, I would not have bought it. I took it for granted who is constantly looking at it while driving and for what purpose. Another issue is the cheap build quality, the right buttons are sticky and don't work well. Overall a cheap product withโ€ฆ

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Works pretty well for the money. I've had it for a few years now but haven't used it lately due to a loose clasp. The matrix is pretty easy to use and for the most part I've had repeatable results. I'm sure there are better ways to measure 0-60, 1/4 mile and horsepower, but unless you live near a drag strip and don't want to pay for a dyno, this is a reasonable substitute. I suggest doing a few runs on average. The plastic snap is not the best. Mine is loose and the gauge cuts out on hard hitsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Crumpled

Useful but with ugly design flaw

As mentioned, the arrow keys on the right side are very sticky. If you turn on your device and hear endless beeps, it means the up arrow key is stuck. If you see a "Reset" message instead, it means the down arrow key is stuck. The only way to release them is to press between the two buttons (pressing the opposite button only sticks one). This is a major design flaw that occurs every time the device is powered on. I'm not sure how they missed it. In terms of accuracy, the numbers from 0 to 60โ€ฆ

Pros
  • Not only useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • There are bugs

Works well seems accurate

Bought this because I just bought a 1972 Monte Carlo with 350 SB, all original and wanted to see what it would do. The 1/4 mile wide local lane was recently closed and there are no others within 5 hours drive. The price for this corresponds to the gas costs. It performs 0-60 times, 1/4 mile time AND speed and G-forces as you turn, accelerate and stop. You can't do all 3 at the same time, it's one shot at a time. You follow the prompts to enter the vehicle and driver weight and the testโ€ฆ
