It might suitable for a small trailer without brakes or battery but not for travel trailers or anything with brakes.I started tracing the wiring and finally disassembled the two connectors to see how the sockets were actually wired and was shocked to see only five wires connected to the 7 blade side. The two missing connections were the battery charging/AUX 12V line and the power to the electric brakes. I stopped tracing wiring at this point and decided to replace or rewire the adapter.
