Review on Susan Bates Tipping Knitting Needles by Tania Monae

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Turning point: AWESOME!

Susan Bates Co. This is where you can succeed. The idea of being able to change tips on single point needles is ingenious. I have full sets of 10" SPN needles - some with round tips, some with Middi and some with Stillts. I have about 5 pairs over $$ Signature spokes and I love them. These Susan Bates needles are the Signature- Needle very similar with one very notable exception (apart from all that switch tip thing) - the Susan Bates tip tips are much lighter If you have wrist issues these needles are a good choice for you They are light weight and are comfortable in the hand.I love the idea of "downsizing" my needle collection and depending on how they hold up they could be the perfect solution for making my needle collection as functional as possible in a small space.depending on of size (each size has a different color) The point blends into the body of the needle very smoothly - almost unnoticeable Reasonable price Interchangeable points allow you to choose the perfect point for your yarn Save space: 10 pairs di These tips mean you have the equivalent of 30 pairs of needles. If you knit straight and don't like rounds, you'll probably need 2 lengths if you're knitting large pieces. On the other hand, no bullet point kit available today gives you 3 point options for each needle. Storing these needles is a problem. You should keep 3 tips with matching needle bodies. I don't know of any needle boxes that allow this. So for now the 3 sizes I have are in the box they came in. At the top of the box is a nice little plastic sleeve that the attachments fit securely in. All in all I am very happy with these needles. I don't like using brochures for things like scarves and little things like kitchen towels and napkins. And there are certain yarns that are just smoother and nicer to knit in straight lines. They go really well with my collection of knitting and circular needles and I would love to gift them to my knitting friends!
