I needed storage in the garage as I didn't have one. I bought this shelf to store my power tools and various tool boxes. Instructions were good but assembly is pretty intuitive and you probably won't need it. The only tool needed is a rubber mallet. One person can assemble and move it as it is actually quite light before putting down the tree. Nevertheless, it is still nice and bright. Very durable after complete assembly. My only complaint and the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that one of the vertical metal brackets was bent when I received the package. The outside of the package was obviously damaged at some point. Luckily the kink didn't go far enough to affect functionality for me, but it's still frustrating to buy something new only to find it's damaged. All in all, if you need storage, this is a great shelf.
