I found the inner shorts in the MTB shorts I bought were a bit lacking, so I looked for something better. The reviews I found on Revain for these shorts sounded pretty good so I gave them a try. While my waist is around 40-42 inches, I found XL to be too tight, but XXL was just right. I've been wearing them for about 6 weeks now on trips that last between an hour and an hour and a half and I really like them. The padding is just right, not chunky but just right and dense, but not too tight. I have since ordered a second pair and since I am so happy with these shorts I will be ordering some of their cycling shorts for my road trips as well. Would I recommend these liners to a friend? Absolutely.
