-- EDIT -- It's been about 6 months now and it's still an amazing monitor, I'm very happy. He does well everything I wanted and even some. Highly recommended. I love reading e-books on my PC, so there are a few things that are important to me. 1) Image quality. This monitor has a great picture. 2) The monitor really works. Previously I had to return the AOC monitor for a refund due to a constant red line in the middle of the screen. So far so good with that. 3) "Reading Mode" to reduce blue light. Test. 4) High resolution. Test. 5) IPS display. Test. 6) I also read comics, so the monitor needs to be rotated to the "portrait" configuration. Test. 6) Height adjustable so I can put it on my monitor stand and stand up whenever I want. To verify. All in all I'm very happy so far, assuming it doesn't turn out like the AOC I just sent back. A weird design decision is the basis I think. It's really a wide sheet of plastic, almost the same as the monitor itself. It's not a problem, so I'm not deducting a star, but I would have preferred a more purposeful, traditional base. The base actually protrudes slightly over the edge of my monitor stand. An added bonus is that you can turn off the stupid power LED on this one! Hooray! Man I'm tired of my old monitor blinking all night. The OSD is nice and the multiple "split screen" modes is something I've been wanting for a long time. Oddly, the audio actually sounds better than the onboard audio from my motherboard. It got cleaner, louder, etc. Usually up to the five so far. I really can't say anything about the picture quality. Fantastic.
