I've had a Dutton Lainson oiler most of my life. My dad had one when I was a kid and thanks to lots of use it never died. He ended up having problems with the spout but he fixed it and it's still working! If you're looking for the very best oil can from an American company that has been making quality oil cans for decades, then you've come to the right place! This isn't the one-off chinese junk you see at every other hardware store! The butt sleeve is turned, cast metal, not stamped like the others, and everything else is composite metal. Not only are there no plastic parts on this oiler, there are also no flimsy metal parts (except for the can, which is still pretty thick). It also has a real sense of quality.
