Not liking the idea of something sticking out from under the dash where my feet are or kicking it when getting in and out, I decided to find a place where I could put the Remove controllers. Path. After all, the chances of accessing it after the initial settings are pretty slim. Luckily my 2013 Tundra has two glove compartments and I hardly ever used the top one. For the installation in the glove compartment, I removed the whole thing from the dashboard and drilled 4 holes for a small bracket. I then used two black zip ties to secure the unit in the glove box. I then used a dremel to cut a rectangular hole in the back of the glove box for the wiring harness connector. I may have been lucky that my snake went straight through the back of the dash from the glove box to the gas pedal. This allowed me to easily route the wire harness that I cut and spliced together to extend it. I hope you enjoy this setup as much as I do. I want Revane to allow me to upload photos.
