I'm giving 5 stars because it's a great tool at a great price and gives you useful info on battery usage. I replace mine because one limitation (which I was already aware of when I bought it) is that it doesn't distinguish between charging and discharging. So if you see some amps going through, you can't tell if they really are amps. Input to the battery or amplifiers coming from the battery. Usually it's obvious which way the current should go (because you know if your charger is on or not), but if you're charging with a solar panel it might be a little less obvious. Most of the time that tells me what I need, but I wanted a simpler solution that made it clear which way the current was going, so I keep this system as a backup and will pay a little more for a high-end system that makes it clear in which direction the current is flowing and how many ampere hours are left in my battery. I'm replacing it with a Renogy 500, but other systems are available.
