If you are at least a little mechanic, you can install it without instructions (which are not included). Installation took no more than 15 minutes. Also replaced my cartridge and cleaned the standard stopper. The stoppers for these faucets are not chrome plated so changing from an acrylic handle to a metal chrome lever type STOP will look like a real one. very long (and a bit uglier) because it's just spot-welded stainless steel. The grip arm could have been made an inch and a half lower to cover more of the stop. I put some plumbing grease on the plastic insert that rotates when rebuilding the base for the handle and a little into the end of the channel on the stop where the white insert goes (it prevents the handle from rotating 360 ). I didn't want the plastic to be dense, because this is where calcium accumulates with water. Plus, it's a cheap and easy $$ upgrade to upgrade the faucet a bit.
