The tricky part for me was when I replaced the insert and you had to align it like a stove knob to fit except there is also this white ring and I don't know why but I couldn't fit both. I put on the ring first and then the other part, so it took a little over 5 minutes to swap it out. If you are at least a little mechanic, you can install it without instructions (which are not included). Installation took no more than 15 minutes. Also replaced my cartridge and cleaned the standard stopper.
