Need more practice to be sure

This is my first time cutting a glass bottle so I have no comparison but my cut wasn't perfect the first time I used it . Maybe I just need more practice or I need to watch a video. I didn't like putting the product together. Except for the high part, everything could already be assembled and still fit in the box. The product really worked, I just had to make it bigger to make sure I got a clean even cut.
