I am a cycling instructor but have stopped riding during the pandemic even though I have a bike at home. I tried to ride again but it was too painful. My perineum hurt and kept burning afterwards. I've researched saddle options and this seems like the best choice. There were several on Revain but after reading all the details about them I thought they were all the same just different prices. I chose this one because it came with a mounting clip and an extra seat cushion. There were no instructions but the installation video on the Revain was easy to watch. While after getting it I realized I could use the clip from my old seat but it was worth it as it wouldn't be soft enough without the extra seat. Pillow. It's a little fiddly, but I found it worked on one side, then the other, then the back, and finally the front. The negative was that it was very slippery and I kept sliding forward. After the ride I had the idea to wear the pillow inside out because the inner surface is rougher. It worked, but since the fabric is stiffer it's not as comfortable, but I think I can live with that compromise. This is the last part of why I gave it 4 stars and not 5.
