I bought this as a beginner to get all the tools I need to start sewing. I still use most of the items that came in the set but the cutting blade sucks. If it were better I would leave 5 stars because I am happy with everything else in the set. When you use the circle cutter, it unscrews and the blade falls off. So I roll the knife over something that's cutting and I have to keep tightening the screw holding the blade while I'm cutting. For those who want to get started, I find this set almost perfect. I would still recommend it, but you definitely need to buy a disc cutter separately.
