I bought this as a beginner to get all the tools I need to start sewing. I still use most of the items that came in the set but the cutting blade sucks. If it were better I would leave 5 stars because I am happy with everything else in the set. When you use the circle cutter, it unscrews and the blade falls off. I just started sewing and needed EVERYTHING. This starter kit saved my life. Most of the items are of high quality, at least as far as I know - I'm not an expert on the subject. The tape measure could perhaps be less "papery". I used almost everything that was in the kit except for a pen and a sewing template.
