Worked great for about a year and then expired. Professional carpenter. Use it to start the 2hp grizzly dust collector. Even goes through the wall. About two months before it stopped working, I noticed that I had pressed the ON button two or three times before it would turn on. . Nothing last week. Changed batteries, still nothing. Based on the troubleshooting I'm pretty sure the remote is sending a signal. But I don't think the receiver does anything with that signal (like starting DC). The receiver says opening the receiver will void the warranty so I won't do that. The question is how to restore the warranty. I can't find any information anywhere. Typical. Good product. I used it A LOT! But now 1 year later he has died and I have to shell out another $90 to replace him. That is the point.
