The product is fairly cheap plastic and arrived (albeit very quickly as promised) with the edge of the air vent already broken off the plastic mould. Since there are no protrusions on the edge, you'll have to rely on a strip of ultra-thin duct tape to hold it in place, as trying to apply epoxy would be a messy option. If you have a friend at the auto shop I would recommend using it as surface prep is key (big cleaning with alcohol for the tape to stick) and the ambient temperature needs to be above 70C*. Also use them to help with precise placement/alignment as any error after sticking to the hood can be costly.
