My Chevy Silverado's cruise control and radio steering stopped working and as I picked up speed the warning light came on. So I took the car to a local mechanic who hooked it up to their fancy computer and told me my ABS system needed a few thousand dollars overhaul. I cleared the codes and took it back to the dealer for them to check again and they couldn't find anything wrong. Three months have passed since the repair, no problems. I told them what I had done and the dealer said it was their second fix after several thousand ABS system repairs. I will never buy from this dealer again, but if you have multiple tools this is an easy fix.
