Cheapest and cutest mini mahjong set you will ever find (and love)

Like many others, I think I've decided to buy this of the many mahjong sets at Revain, for the big one Partly because it offered the whole experience at a lower price and is one of the few instances where I can say "you get what you pay for" and be very happy with it. Size - the pieces are tiny, comparable to the top third of your pinky. Friends compared them to blocks of cheese. A larger, more traditional mahjong set might feel better in your hand and even easier to turn along the lines (e.g. if you want to form a hand and join the ends and turn your tiles up or down off the table show your hand). BUT once you accept that they're not normal, they're actually pretty cute and unique. I really like the tiny size and of course it makes the set very portable. They are good quality and the box itself looks great with great inlay work that sets the mood of mahjong. For a mahjong beginner I can highly recommend this set as an inexpensive starter set, especially when price is an issue. A few notes: the mahjong guide that comes with the box has a certain old-school aesthetic, which is nice! But they're not the best resource for beginners, as they're too short to cover all the features of mahjong and too long to be easy to read (especially if your group wants to play Japanese riichi, which isn't described). in general) and contains some typos. Instead, I would use online resources, particularly for scoring where digital scoreboard sites eliminate the need for extensive manual scoring. The set includes 2 extra tiles and 8 colors and seasons (I put them in the bag separately as our group doesn't use them, but they're interspersed with the rest. Doesn't seem to include scoring sticks or a marker for the wind seat or more circular Wind It also doesn't have anything to keep your hand in place if you want to try something like this to play with friends in person I'm very happy with my purchase you know what you're getting it's not a classic big one Set for mahjong. but it has personality! And it might be right for your group. And hey, don't underestimate that it's a hell of a deal!
