Review on ๐ŸŒž Enhanced Privacy and Sun Protection: Ablave One Way Window Film for Home with Anti-UV, Sun Blocking, Heat Control, Reflective Glass Tint, and Static Cling Vinyl by Sandra Ford

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Easy assembly, function as described

I found the enclosed instructions for this window film easy to use: clean the window, measure the window and cut the film (with scissors), spray the window with water, apply the film to the window, air bubbles with a squeegee remove. In fact, there is no glue, so the slide can be lifted and moved repeatedly if needed. A few notes from my experience: (1) The instructions said to cut the film 1 inch more than needed and when you're done use the Xacto-Cutter to cut it. I didn't add an extra inch, just measured and trimmed neatly with scissors. so I didn't have to cut anything. (2) I wasn't able to remove every small air bubble with a squeegee, but the remaining air bubbles are only visible if one of them is within 2 feet of the window. from far. (3) Bought 2 rolls of this film. Upon arrival, one was sealed with masking tape and the other with cellophane. The masking tape peeled off easily, but the cellophane tape left stubborn sticky marks on the first 6-inch window film. Given that I paid about $0.30 per linear inch, I was disappointed that the rolling part was inferior. (4) The day view of this one is spot on: it doesn't darken the room, the view from the inside is unchanged, and from the outside it's not a shiny mirror, just a reflection of the trees. Curtains or drapes are required at night as stated in the description.
