I was hesitant to purchase this clip due to the lack of reviews but there were enough bad reviews of the Kreg rectangular clip to put me off. This clip was also cheaper, which is nice. The clamp arrived in perfect condition and works great! Yes, you need to adjust the clamping force for different sizes of material, but it's very simple and easy to set up. I also found that it only takes a little effort to hold the pieces in place. Too much clamping force and you start damaging the hole in the pocket. The clamp itself makes a well-made impression and has a stable grip. I've only used it a couple of times but I'll update my review if I ever have problems. The square clamp is my new favorite woodworking tool. It greatly simplifies carpentry work. I wish I had bought one like this years ago!
