It took a little while to get it working properly with no leaks, but I've used it in a high pressure gas system with incredible success after strategizing it. Surprisingly, this is an epoxy type product that can be used instead of erasing. or soldering. In this regard, it is quite strong after treatment. The main consideration when using this product is that the connections must be very clean. Grind the copper and then clean each joint with alcohol, the better the cleaning, the better the results. Also, apply a cotton swab liberally to the tube and connector, making sure to cover it well. When putting parts together, be sure to hold the tube and connector together for one minute until the connection is tight. The instructions say "instantly" but this method provides a leak-free connection. I have received many marks with this product but it is an amazing product with good engineering. I'd suggest they rewrite the instructions, but the Copper Lock is a winner in my book with proper technique.
