Review on Cometic Gasket C5852 030 Exhaust Ford by Richard Ahmar

I bought this product thinking Cometic exhaust gaskets were the best but I was wrong. After the first ride I had an exhaust leak at the driver's side exhaust manifold. I went and screwed the gasket back on and it was still leaking. Then I started tightening the bolts beyond what the OEM recommends and it worked for some people. But while it helped, it didn't fix the leak until the manifold got hot and the metal expanded from the heat. After a few weeks of fiddling, I removed the headers and replaced them with regular OEM gaskets. Once the car started with cheap gaskets, it was as quiet as it could get. Lesson learned: Cometics can be expensive, but that doesn't make them any better.
