I've waited a bit to write this review so it's more accurate. When I bought this I read that it takes a while to connect to the GPS, which was alarming. I had no problems with that at all. I used to have a Garmin Forerunner 230 and this watch connects just as quickly as the Forerunner. For my gym workouts, I find the cardio setting best for my needs, but I love all the options the watch offers for workouts. I didn't use anything else for exercise other than cardio and walking. I believe that GPS accurately determines distance, time and pace. The battery life of this watch is also good. I use some of the watch's features about 5-6 days a week and I've found the battery to last 4-5 days before needing a recharge. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because it takes so long. Upload them from the phone to the app after a workout or in the morning when I want to see my sleep pattern. Loading information may take 5 minutes or more. While it's not a big deal, it's still a little frustrating. In addition, the blue tooth does not always stay in contact. At least once a day I have to unplug and plug my phone back in for my phone to receive messages when I'm in range of my phone. Also, I really like this watch and it did everything I wanted it to do. do. I thought I would miss my predecessor and I don't. Vienna is exactly what I was looking for.
