I have never had a good scanner and now that I work more from home this scanner is very useful for me. The scanning camera quickly transferred the files to my computer. With the included software, you can convert scanned images to PDF and email, print, or fax them. This is a portable device and I imagine it will be very useful for people who need to give presentations while traveling. However, the video quality is not the best and the software is a bit buggy as it crashes from time to time. While this camera meets my basic everyday needs, if I were to use it professionally, I might consider a camera with more reliable software. The microphone is decent and I think this camera is the best to use with its live view capabilities. At the moment the camera does what I need, but I'm sure there are other products on the market with the same features that work more reliably.
