Not strong enough for the Tundra

2006 Toyota Tundra parking brakes do not hold at maximum setting. I was hoping the Dorman 03006 would help take out the slack and tighten the cable. The Dorman brake cable adjuster folded up on the first press of the brake pedal. The product could not withstand the tension of the cable.
