At first I thought it wouldn't fit. Some Wrangler models have an additional metal brace that attaches the metal bumper frame to the plastic bumper. This is not available for all models. You have 2 existing screws if your model has them. If you take out those existing bolts the nuts will stay in place as they are welded on. Because of this, I thought at first that there was no way to attach the tow hitch to the bumper frame. All you have to do is slide it OUTSIDE of the metal bracket. It's very busy, but it will go on. I lifted it as far as I could with my hand. Then I pulled it out to the end with a rubber mallet. I fastened the screw on one side and then was able to finish tapping on the other side. If the screw holes don't line up exactly, just tap them in the desired direction with a rubber mallet and eventually they will all line up. It took about 15 minutes in total.
