Several times I almost gave up. But at 3am on the second day I finally got it working. Trying to use two USB to serial converters and a desktop computer with an actual serial port on the back to communicate with the device. The manufacturer claims are wrong and bad at best. The manufacturer's website is useless except for downloading the software. As other reviewers have written, you need to disassemble the device, then make sure the 2 jumpers are set on the "PC" pins to set the correct baud rate, then use the HC-05 command tab in the software ( not the SH-B23, that should be this device). !), open the UART, select the correct communication port on your computer, press the micro button in the device, then press "Test" in the software and most importantly press "OK". Don't forget to put the jumpers back from "PC" to "Device" after changing the baud rate. If you don't get an "OK" after clicking "Test", you are not connected to the computer. And although it seems that you are changing the device settings in the software, this is not the case. Worse, you can still "connect" or "pair" to another device via Bluetooth, but the data rate will most likely be wrong (because you never changed it) and it will connect via Bluetooth, but it will will not work (i.e. will not transfer data). For example, a computer with high fuel injection, which MUST be set to 115200 baud, will not transmit at 9600 baud, which is the default setting on that device. I wouldn't be able to change the baud rate on the device or get this device to work without the other reviewers on Revain. Also the device sent by Revain does not match the picture or is listed in Revain. The device supplied was the SH-B30, which doesn't even have a command tab in the software. If you value your time over money, use something else.
