When I received them, the screws on the VGA side were missing and my monitor couldn't accommodate an additional computer monitor after plugging it in. I tried it with my TV which has both VGA and HDMI and it still wouldn't catch it. I ended up having to buy a dongle that converts HDMI to VGA and it worked great. Whilst this item may have been defective I would not recommend it as I need it for work from home and had to wait a few days for delivery as it was not considered 'essential'.
