Review on 📃 Efficient Scanning with the Plustek SmartOffice PS286 Plus Document Scanner by Darius Early

I bought this scanner a month ago and out of 30 days of scanning I've been able to succeed 5 days in a row with no problems. The scanner mysteriously started to output a PDF file completely black. I spent hours restarting the computer, turning the device on and off, and reloading the drivers. I found the online PDF "manual" minimal and never mentioned the black output issue. I once wrote to tech support, they hinted that a broken ant could. On my last day of owning this unit, I contacted tech support who had no answer as to why - but I was able to send it to them for repair. The second option was to reload the drivers (this was the 5th time) - and that didn't fix the problem. I finally gave in and Amazon was kind enough to refund me for the defective unit. Brother ADS 2000 - a few dollars more - much better
