A few months ago I bought my first yarn bowl. I was one of those knitters who used to pull at the core after digging around and pulling out some rat's nests with the end of the yarn! I got tired of twisting the yarn and then having to "hang" the ball and twist the string before continuing. I then started knitting from the outside rather than flattening and loosening the wool and that cured the curls. But then I had a new problem - I had to chase the ball all over the floor. When I saw this handy little bowl I knew it was a winner. First I thought of buying a wooden bowl, but then I remembered that some types of wood from different countries can have a very unpleasant smell and I didn't want that. This bowl is perfect for what I wanted! I've included photos to show you the size in relation to a water bottle and a soda can. This is not a small bowl. Heavy enough not to move around the table, big enough to hold a large round donut roll and just gorgeous in its gorgeous turquoise colour! I am very happy with my purchase and only wish I had had something like this many years ago! and simply beautiful in its beautiful turquoise!
