I like these things. We have 4 in our home. Our home does not have central heating but has zone heating with a mix of these and gas fireplaces. They're fairly quiet, look a lot better than most wall heaters, more like a central heating coil than a wall heater. Works great in tight spaces like bathrooms. The "Pick a Watt" version has ridiculous instructions. They claim three different heating modes (wattages), but proceeding for two of them results in the same wattage. It's been a while since I installed it and when I read the instructions and figured out the error I thought I'd gone through this before, years ago with one of these. But just to be sure (it's a wall unit after all) I contacted tech support and got exactly the same thing I had many years ago, an error in the instructions that will be fixed. was said many years ago. Just to be clear, this requires a line voltage thermostat or relay to match the low voltage device. A major visual update for the skirting boards, though, and a fairly easy upgrade.
