I started using Knitpicks spare needles a while ago because a knitter friend of mine gave me one of her starter sets, so I'm gradually adding needle sizes as needed. beautiful, elegant, comfortable and basically great for work. They feel fantastic, the grain of the wood is really great and the yarn doesn't slip or stick. The only downside, which has been a minor issue with all replacement needles I've used, is that the needle slowly unscrews from the cable as you work. It hasn't become a big problem for me yet, but it's a bit of a hassle to keep checking them and screwing them back in when needed. and if you're not watching them, I could see them falling apart and possibly quit your job. It may just be the way I hold them, but I've heard others with similar complaints. I still recommend these needles, although I'm open to suggestions for replacement needles that don't!
