We bought this machine because we couldn't find another cleaning machine that we bought years ago. Judging by the photos, they were identical. When this arrived we immediately saw that it was of much lower quality. He looked shabby and thin. When my wife tried to use it, the frustration continued. It was impossible to adjust the tension on the peeling arm to make it work properly. It was either too fluffy and didn't peel, or it was too tight and the peeler cut off the bundle of apple pulp along with the peel. My wife ended up peeling the remaining apples by hand and throwing them in the trash. A few weeks later we found our original. As we suspected, the other was heavier and seemed more solid. This has worked well for us for the past 7 years.
