I purchased these lights to fill the gap in the areas that I as constantly feeling like I needed to turn on all the lights and still needed a flashlight. They Work! I placed one in my closet in my hallway right behind the door stop, and it works as expected.Now for the tricky installs. I placed two in an hold TV stand that I regularly use to store my tech equipment, cameras, bags and tool kits. I didn't want the lights showing when I opened the doors, in case I were to sell the cabinet in the future to someone that may not like the idea. I placed them above the door opening behind the the recess that is the the cabinet. I wasn't sure if it would work at all. After placing the light, I noted that all you can see is a small portion of the white motion sensor bump. I was also worried that it would always turn on every time it sees a shadow as there is a small crack between the door gap on the cabinet, but it doesn't and it turns on perfectly every time that I open the door to the cabinet.I did deduct one star, as you noted from the title, I stated that it Ebay is lacking selection. This is true. Once I received the light, I noted on the box there was a check mark next to bright white, with an option for soft white. I checked the manufacture's website and found the same. I personally would have preferred the soft white, especially since my cabinet is wood and it gives that Hemingway feel.As to the design, it works as is, but I wish that the light was tilted at about a 30 - 45 degree angle so that you can direction it in toward the the closet or cabinet with the motion sensor still pointing down, but that is my specific use case so your mileage may vary.
