Review on Pastel Shaper & Storage Jar Set - Shapes Soft Pastels to a Point or Desired Shape - Complete with Wire Brush, Mesh Funnel & Storage Jars by Gelin Battle

I have a large number of soft chalk pastels and have decided to buy a wood file or cester when I need more pastel dust for my clay figures. I usually use pastel for painting and also for coloring liquid clay for frostings, sauces and more. I used a razor blade but this can result in larger pieces of the pastel coming off than I'd like and it will take a lot of time. Even a wood file or zester will have trouble holding the resulting dust. This system is really perfect. The original container holds all my dust, it's not too painful to use, it's definitely faster than my previous methods. The resulting dust is homogeneous and easy to mix or apply to paper. Much easier than the makeshift mortar and pestle method I've used before where a chunk of pastel powder was pressed together to form lumpy frostings or sauces. All in all I love it! I just wish there were more than one storage jar included.
