I have remodeled all my cabinets and replaced handles with handles. They have more than 60 doors and drawers. Using the manual is the only way out and I'm sure I won't screw it up now. I read a lot of reviews and decided I needed metal not plastic. I carefully mark the holes with a small tap of the drill and remove the guide to pierce. That way I won't gnaw holes in the instructions until I've finished them all. A small price to pay for the precision required to evenly adjust the grips. My advice is to take your time and check the instructions often to make sure the screws haven't loosened and the parts haven't moved.
