Review on πŸ”Œ Woods 41079 Surge Protector: 6-Outlet Power Strip with 2 USB Type A Ports (1000J Protection) - White by Prince Fratto

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very handy for surge protectors

I love having three extra ports in my kitchen, and two USB ports means I can charge my phone or tablet while I'm frantically trying to follow a recipe . There is a tray at the top of the device that you can use to keep your phone (or tablet, if you have vertical clearance) out of the way while charging. When connecting to the top socket of a two-socket strip, the bottom socket can be used. The only (very minor) issue I found is that if you have one of those large panels with a switch on the left and two outlets on the right, this device can interfere with the switch a bit. In my case I tried plugging it into an outlet near the garbage chute switch and although this allowed me to flip the switch, it got stuck just before the switch latched "ON" so the disposer wouldn't turn on . turned on unless I let the switch go across the connection point. It's okay, I just moved it to another branch nearby.
