This is a great product for the money and very easy to install. I bought this for the back of our new 2018 motorhome as a bike rack. I also installed one of these on my previous camper although I welded it on and may decide to do the same with this one although it really isn't needed for a three bike mount. From the photos it looks like the recipient is touching the back of the camper, but it isn't. There is a gap of about 1/8 inch between the RV skin and the receiver. My 4" square bumper sticks out exactly 1" from the RV, if yours is smaller you might have some rubbing.
