I bought this film to use as a privacy screen for the patio door and also for a small glass window on our front door. It really looks like you have blinds on the window. This offers the privacy I was hoping for. When someone comes to the front door, and I'm standing on the other side, the stranger sees a blurry and blurry silhouette. Installation was easy and I recommend purchasing the app bundle that Amazon offers under the core product shown. I can't say how long it will last, especially in the hot summer as we only recently installed it, but so far I'm happy with this purchase. I think it looks way better than the frosted glass I've seen on other window films.
