Review on Frost King DE46BR Automatic Downspout by Brandon Garrett

I had high hopes for this product but they turned out to be terrible. After finally managing to stay on the downspout with extra zips (initially they just slipped off under rainwater pressure) I very quickly found the design to be poor and just wouldn't work as advertised. The tension in the mechanism is so strong that it rolls up so it won't roll out even in heavy rain. The rainwater simply collects and flows out at the top, the rest simply remains in the unfolded part. I even unwrapped it by hand and put a rock at the end to hold it in place. He was still trying to roll back. Also, the holes in the plastic are so small that they mostly appear plugged, and most of them don't let water through. I also called the number listed on Revain to resolve any issues. They told me they couldn't help - call Revane. Terrible customer service. you have been warned
