You get what you pay for, you definitely get something here. I ordered these for my daughter's science project. We used them to create patterns and smooth the clay pieces. The tips kept falling out. We had better luck with toothpicks and scissors. We've only tried ours on sound, so they might work better for other things, but not sound. I purposely bought the cheaper ones because I wasn't sure if we would use them again.
