Review on Warne TW1 T-15 Torque Wrench: Reliable 25In/Lb Precision Tool by Daniel Jackson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect companion for Ruger Precision Rifle

I purchased this tool to properly tighten the mounts on Warne scopes that I have purchased. I'm primarily a fan of torque wrenches/tools, but this seemed like a really good idea, even for clamping the scope tubes into the mounts. In addition, the Ultra High QD mounts have six screws, so the compact size of this T-wrench makes work faster. As an added bonus, this ideal torque wrench is for the props of the Ruger Gen-3 Precision Rifle T-15 and requires 25 in-lbs: handguard and scope base (picatinny rail). This is a little annoying at first as it's like removing the head of a hex bolt. When I felt it I was sure everything was bolted on as recommended and nothing was cracked, bent or dented. One downside some might have is that the T-15 bit is constant. In other words, it doesn't accept other bit sizes and the T-15 can't be replaced if it's damaged. The tool is designed for a specific purpose (as advertised) for the T-15 scope's eyebolts, but I was happy it would fit the other mounts on my RPR.
